Delivering Solidarity as a podcast was founded in early 2024 during the time when Fred Woodley was the local President of NALC Branch 385. It started as a method of reaching out to members who couldn’t (or wouldn’t) attend union meetings, as a way to spread relevant information to them. Since its inception, Delivering Solidarity has broaden the original vision from reaching members of NALC Branch 385 who didn’t attend union meetings to spreading knowledge and information to all city letter carriers across the country. The focus of Delivering Solidarity today is education and empowering the city letter carrier craft overall by teaching everyone who will listen what their rights are and how to exercise them.
